CONTROL TOTAL
La nueva suspensión FlexPoint Pro ofrece 120mm de recorrido trasero suave y activo, combinado con un horquilla de 120mm, lo que te permite descender velozmente por terrenos técnicos y escalar con potencia en subidas exigentes. Un flip chip te permite ajustar con precisión el manejo para todo tipo de terreno XC. Los Giant WheelSystems en composite ultraligero o aluminio (según el modelo) incorporan un sistema de trinquete helicoidal de nueva generación con 120 dientes para una transmisión de potencia inmediata, y paredes de llanta de 5mm para mayor protección contra impactos y pinchazos. Peso del cuadro: 1530 gramos (talla mediana).
CONCEPTO DE VELOCIDAD DE BAJA LATENCIA
Un juego de cuadros en composite completamente rediseñado es 89 gramos más ligero que su predecesor, con una relación rigidez-peso (eficiencia) un 7,95 por ciento mayor, para ayudarte a escalar con más potencia y aprovechar cada vatio al máximo. Los WheelSystems y las unidades integradas de manillar/potencia están diseñados para lograr la máxima eficiencia y una respuesta instantánea a las acciones del ciclista. El amortiguador trasero ha sido reposicionado y semi-integrado con el tubo superior, reduciendo el peso y creando espacio para un segundo portabidon.
INTEGRACIÓN DE SISTEMAS
Una nueva unidad integrada de manillar/potencia de una sola pieza incorpora flexibilidad para absorber golpes y vibraciones, mejorando el control y la comodidad en las manos. Está disponible en dos modelos: el Contact SLR XC Integrated en composite y el Contact SL XC Integrated en aluminio. Ambos cuentan con el mismo sistema de ruteo interno de cables sin interrupciones y una configuración versátil, con un ancho estándar de 780mm y longitudes de potencia que van desde los 50 hasta los 90mm.

Wide Guard Technology
When your wheel hits a sharp or square edge, especially at speed, pinch flats and rim damage can occur. Wide Guard technology minimizes this risk by broadening the contact point between the rim and tire with a solid 5mm rim sidewall. That means you can skip the heavy tire inserts to have less unsprung weight on your bike and allow your suspension to perform better. The wide sidewalls also better protect your wheel from big impacts, reducing the possibility of rim damage.
MegaDrive
A massive rectangular downtube and oversized toptube work in unison to provide superior front end lateral and torsional steering precision. The precisely engineered, rectangular shaped downtube yields unprecedented steering and pedaling stiffness.
PowerCore
A massively oversized bottom-bracket/chainstay area features a fully integrated, 86-millimeter wide bottom-bracket design (92-millimeter wide for off-road bikes). Asymmetric chainstays provide additional stiffness on the driveside and stability on the non-driveside.
OverDrive
Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
FlexPoint Pro Suspension Technology
Developed as a superlight rear suspension setup for XC bikes that demand efficiency, control and responsive handling, FlexPoint Pro is a linkage-driven, single-pivot system that delivers 100mm of rear-wheel travel. It’s engineered with a full-composite swingarm that significantly reduces overall frame weight.
Advanced Forged Composite Technology
A state-of-the-art high-pressure molding process is used to produce complex-shaped carbon fiber components that are lighter, stiffer and stronger than similar components made from aluminum. This technology is used in critical performance parts such as Maestro Suspension rocker links.
Advanced SL Composite Technology
Professional Grade raw carbon fiber is woven in our composite factory to produce our lightest, stiffest and highest quality frames. This is the technology used by Giant’s pro racers in almost every cycling discipline.
